Treasure Island’s food scene is often overlooked, especially since it’s out of the way of where most people are stopping for a bite. However, there’s a solid selection of restaurants with unique bites worth the detour. There’s also solid places to get a drink or pick up a meal to go.
Off the Grid: Treasure Island

From September 13th to November 1st, we’re hosting a Mediterranean-themed coastal getaway at Cityside Park. From 11am to 4pm, we’re bringing food trucks and cocktails to celebrate the weekend by the sea. In our opinion, it’s the best place to grab a bite on the island. For our first event, we’re bringing Aydea SF, Dominic’s Food Truck, Gio Gelati, Kabob Trolley, Lahore Di Khushboo, Nombe Restaurant, Porchetta Toscana, and Yo Soy Ceviche.
Aracely Cafe

The menu here pulls inspiration from cuisines around the world. There’s ceviche, crepes, tri tip sandwiches, pappardelle, fried chicken, and a rack of lamb. Don’t skip on dessert — you’ll want to try the warm chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. The patio gives wedding vibes thanks to the lush garden and string lights.
Mersea

This restaurant provides stunning views of the city and a diverse menu with something for everyone. Stop by for a crispy taco, truffle fries, fish and chips, or fish chowder. Currently on the specials menu is a breakfast tostada, elote, tomato salad, and a steak sandwich.
Gold Bar Distillery

The tasting room at Gold Bar offers a variety of fun cocktails made with their whiskey and gin. Their most interesting creations include a cold brew old fashioned, a peach old-fashioned, and a peach and cream fizz.
